Preparing your Spindle mattress for a refund

    3 min read

If you're looking to get a refund from Spindle, there are a few things you need to do.

    Step 1

We ask you to give the mattress a bit more time. It takes time to get used to anything new, e.g.: a new pair of shoes, and we advise customers to give themselves a good 60 to 90 days to adjust to their Spindle. During that time the mattress will relax and you will become more familiar with its feel. The more you know about the mattress, the easier it will be for us to help you get more comfortable.

    Step 2

You'll need to speak with someone from our team. A Spindle mattress is inherently easy to modify so there is a good chance that we can get you comfortable. We’ll work with you to find out more about your current experience, what's missing, and the zone you'd like to hit. That will help us determine what remedies are possible.

    Step 3

If we are unable to find a solution to get you comfortable, we will begin the refund process. We cannot take the mattress back. Our refund policy has you donate your Spindle to a charitable community service organization such as Goodwill, Wounded Warriors or the Salvation Army; safe-house shelters; refugee resettlement organizations; houses of worship; Habitat for Humanity; artists colonies; spiritual retreats; etc. The intent behind the policy is to provide a mattress to someone in need. We're confident you'll find a proper solution.

    Step 4

You are responsible for cutting the tags from your Spindle, donating it to a charitable organization [with documentation], and sending all that to us. Once we receive the packet we refund the cost of the mattress, but not the foundation if you've purchased one. That is a universal item that can be used with nearly any mattress.

For the 10" Organic Latex Mattress:

Please remove all Spindle brand indicia from the cover and latex. This includes [see image below]:

    1. Proof of donation.
    2. Firmness labels from the individual layers [3 total]
    3. Care instructions from the individual layers [3 total]
    4. Law tags from the individual layers [3 total]
    5. White "law tag" on the mattress cover located at the head or foot of the bed.
°  Check with the donee before removing this label. Some orgs, e.g.: Salvation Army, will not accept the donation if the law tag has been removed.
    6. Tag with the Spindle logo from the mattress cover.
    7. "Do not wash" tag from the mattress cover.
    8. Top & Bottom cover IDs from inside cover [near seam where zipper meets]

Email us a picture of the tags [no need to USPS] with documentation that you no longer have the mattress and we will promptly process a refund.
